I am kinda stealing the "100 things about me" thing that so many other bloggers do...one day I will do a complete list but once again not today.
Janelle- The TV show- Top 10 Things You Outta Know
1. Two shows I must watch during the week after I get home from work- Roseanne (I love Darlene in this clip!) and Frasier (This clip from one my all time favorite episodes)
Ok- New Rule- from here on out- just click on a show title for a favorite clip of that show.
2. My top two favorite shows of all time- Friends and The Office. Now, The Office is an acquired taste, but here is what you do: Take a day off from work, buy the 1st season on DVD and sit back and enjoy.... you will be a fan afterwards, I promise!
3. My honorable mention show- The Cosby Show - please, please for the love of God, watch this clip! It is my all time favorite moment on TV.
If you didn't grow up watching The Cosby Show, then you are too young to be my friend. LEAVE!. Oh! I kid, I kid.
4. I am sad that my kids live in a TV era where they won't come home from school and watch Gilligan’s Island or Alice or Different Strokes. I am sad they will never really know Bewitched....I guess I could buy them on DVD- or I could put them on My Amazon Wish List and have you guys buy them for me :)
5. If I was to go on a reality TV show, it would be Big Brother (Bye Bye BITCHES!)! Again, too old for Real World, too scared of heights for the Amazing Race, I can't go 39 days without eating like on Survivor and I can't sing to go on American Idol. But, I'm a mom so I would LOVE for Supernanny to come to my house and teach me how to make my kids go to bed!!
6. My favorite shows right now- Dexter on Showtime, haven't watched it on CBS yet. Boston Legal and I am sure about a dozen others that can't come to mind at this moment. Oh! and Chelsea Lately! I soooooo want to go on her show or just meet her- I think she is amazing!!
6a. I never miss VH1's Best Week Ever OR E!'s The Soup.
6b. Oh! And I love watching just about anything on court TV (or I guess it's TruTV now?) or about murders and gross distrubing stuff like that. I love, love, LOVE Dominick Dunne!
7. When I was little my mom wouldn't let me watch the movie Adam or The Burning Bed, I still have not watched either movie.
8. Back in the day, I watched Cops and Americas Most Wanted every Saturday with my Aunt. Now, I can't stand either show because I think I was burnt out at an early age.
9. I record Judge Judy and Days everyday on my DVR, but hardly ever watch them but can't stand the idea of deleting them from my list of stuff to record because since day one of my DVR- those shows have always been recorded.
Plus, I have recorded Days ever since I started really watching it in middle school and I would come home and watch it using a remote that had a cord! How crazy huh? And I remember my grandma watching Days when I little, little.
10. I love watching Hannah Montana with my kids- that crazy Miley is always getting into something, LOL.

Ok,, I checked the link again,, and,,, believe it or not, it still takes me to the same place, but, there is a 'tag' at the top I missed, it says "This video can not be viewed in your country",, AHHHH! I am only accross the border, not the world, can't the airwaves cross at Peach Arch? I go on youtube alot, and never had that come up! As for tv shows.. I think we would do fine, but you are missing one of my faves as a kid,, BRADY BUNCH! So tacky, but so fun! I even got a kick out the movies they made making fun of it. My brother was the Gilligan's Island fan, I laugh at it now when I come accross it on re-runs, but didn't like it then. Now I have a crush on the Proffesor,, haha!
I had forgotten about the Brady Bunch! Yes, I watched that too! AND I loved the movies as well. Shhh, don't tell anybody, LOL
We ARE tv compatible. I'm a Nick at Nite Junkie. The Jeffersons and All in the Family are insomnia staples. If its corny, black & white and they use phrases like "groovy" or "aw geez" or "jeepers", I'll park my butt and watch it.
I HATE reality tv though, big time. Except for certain shows that right now I can't even think of the names to. And I love game shows....especially 1 vs 100.
Janelle, you know darn well that we are TV compatible:) I LOVE Friends...hands dowm best TV show ever!! I love to watch Court TV and laugh at all the stupid people. Of course we al know that I love VH1 reality. Do I really need to go on. Oh, I loved the Cosby show clip, I miss that show.
