AND the best part, I'm not the only winner! Sarah from a child's romance is also a winner! AND she is going to the party too! We will be hotel roommates, along with Becky and Shelia. The grand prize, a round trip ticket went to NYCWD. Which I love! I mean, I don't love him, but I know him and have been a fan of his blog for well over a year, maybe two?? And I didn't even know he was going!! I can't wait to meet him and hear him talk that New York kinda talk. This party is going to be awesome!
I have had some back and forth moments about this party.... Do I want to go? I don't really? Yes I do? I don't know?
I just have this feeling, and I was talking to Paul today about this, I think this will totally be a yearly thing for me. I hope so anyways. But I also want to make a once a year 'bucket list' trip as well.... I think next year it will be New York Baby! (right Becky?) I so want to see Legally Blonde the Musical ... oh! but wait, I am suppose to go to Vegas after tax season next year (2009) to meet up with my longest internet buddy, Dustin. And Becky and Shelia are suppose to come as well! 2010 for New York? This can all be hashed out later... America isn't going anywhere and I've got a lifetime to see it all! With my BFF's in tow, of course!
Ok, so after feeling like a complete loser, I feel so full of joy right now. I wish I could always, always, ALWAYS feel this happy! I just feel like the world is mine for the taking! I feel like anything is possible with some good cheap plane tickets and some really awesome people to hang out with. I've got my husband, my girls, my BFF's and even though my BFF's don't live close to me at. all. For today, it's ok and I'm all smiles.
Wow! A shirt can make me feel this good! Maybe I should reconsider my anti- depressants???

I'm rejuvenated just at the thought of being away from home for a weekend, even if half of that time will be spent on a plane!

Oh! And, ya know, if Becky lived anywhere near a real city (do you?) we could take turns taking over each other's hometowns because Hello?!?! Gotta take advantage of the lack of need for a hotel room when visiting awesome places like Chicago and Nashville!
Seriously people. New York I wouldn't mind going to see but I've got Broadway here already.

Shelia-I need my costume too! Ugh. It's gonna be here quick!! And I am sure I will be running out to Wal Mart the night before I leave trying to buy some crazy costume that has nothing to do with Adam's theme.
Shelia comment #2- LOVE THE IDEA! Going to people's hometowns. AWESOME idea AND you have Legally Blonde in your town? DOUBLE AWESOME! Have you ever wanted to visit Nashville? It's about 30 minutes from my house. We will have to wait till they have a fair or music something or other though. Most nights in downtown Nashville is just like any other bar town. BUT with some really good singers, if you like country.

We did a drive by visit to Nashville on our way home from Georgia last year and went to The Wild Horse Saloon for dinner.
