... And I am volunteering at my church tonight

Last night I went out with some friends I met via Twitter, Twingly and Traci .

We planned to meet at a little pub downtown that is known for its pizza and homemade beer. As I walked up to meet in person my new friends, we hugged as if we had been old college friends reuniting. We sat at a table for what seemed like forever asking a ton of questions before we even ordered anything. The poor waitress kept stopping by, "Are you girls ready to order?" And we just kept saying, "A few more minutes."

It ended up being a wonderful evening and I'm so glad I went. I know that I have found two girls that I am sure to be friends with for a long time and we all three agreed that we should do this "girls night out" thing monthly.

I was proud of myself for going last night... you see, I'm famous for making plans and then breaking plans because, "ugh. I just don't feel like going." I get all excited when making plans but then actually following through on said plans is a different story. I sign up for crap and then when I am actually called out on doing something, I'm like, "Why me Lord? Why me?" I'm sure what you would call this problem of mine???

I have talked to Becky about this and we agreed that after we actually follow through on what we say we are going to do, we usually end of having a great time. I love making the plans, and doing the plans, I just hate the waiting, the driving, the having to get ready all just to do said plans. When it comes time to "get ready" is usually when my "No thank you, I'll just stay home thingy kicks in." Does any of that make sense?

Well, anyways, this is just a rambling post .... sorry about that. I will try to think of something really awesome to post about tomorrow.

If you are looking for some awesome folks to follow on twitter, Twingly and Traci are great to follow AND a little birdie told me that Shelia FINALLY got a twitter account. (and the person that keeps me rolling in 140 charaters or less is Sarahbellum. I don't know her and she doesn't follow me but she keeps me rolling- so I suggest you follow her as well).

Here are some questions for you...

1) Have you looked up your hometown on Twitter to try and find some folks that live near you? If not, you should. It's really cool.

2) Who is your favorite person to follow on Twitter? Who Keeps you laughing?

3) And who are you voting for and what religion are you?

Ok, Ok... you don't have to answer question 2 if you find it too personal.

1),, I still am 'twitterless', so really don't have an answer for 2
3)I get to vote for a Prime Minister,, wooot woooot, but, if I could vote for president, at this point it probably would be Obama, only because the news up here doesn't really show Palin in a very flattering light.

I don't do Twitter and really I don't want to:)
Sorry...
My religion? Growing up I was raised Nazarene and still go to a Nazarene church but I like non-denominational ones too.
Voting? Mccain, sorry Obama and the abortion thing is BIG w/ me. I can't deal w/ that.

Lori- The news down here doesn't show her in a flattering light either, well depending on which news programs you watch.

Misi- I go to a non denominational chruch (did I spell that right?) I love, LOVE, LOVE my church. It's the best church I've ever been to.
